Mason's 3rd Birthday Party - Circus and/or Carnival Style

My baby turned 3 this spring.  What??? As every parent asks, where did the time go?  This amazing little boy is so very cuddly, and funny, and just so adorable.  He has these huge dark blue eyes with long jet black lashes that just warm my heart every time he looks at me.  I love that he still has complete trust in me, and that he is content just to sit on my lap and snuggle while I type this.

To celebrate this little guy's 3rd birthday, I threw him a circus and/or carnival party.  Much of my inspiration was from pinterest, of course.

The birthday boy with his favorite treat - popcorn!
The party minus the birthday boy.  He prefers to be behind the camera.
I put up a several of these red and white pennant banners for the party.  Love the way it turned out.

Favors included wacky straw, cotton candy, and a whoopie cushion.

Birthday Boy Finally Participating
He's supposed to be the ringleader - really.

I love to incorporate face painting into parties.  Here's my favorite clown.
The Lioness.  Lookout - she's hungry!
The frosting was really hard to work with.  Every year I swear that I'll use canned frosting, but I never can bring myself to

We also had snow cones from this old fashioned ice shaver.  Kiddos loved it!

I edited some of the free printables to put Mason's name and age on them.  These are the cupcake printables, but I  always use them for cups.

The kiddos all had a wonderful time.  Hope I can keep the momentum going for Jacob's party.  It's looking like Lego Star Wars will be the theme.
